Music City Bowl eyes SEC Teams
This morning's Tennessean reports that three SEC teams are being considered for the Music City Bowl.
The three teams are:
South Carolina, which became bowl elegible this weekend. (In other news--did Lou Holtz cry about it?)
Alabama, who would bring a large crowd.
Florida, which needs one more win to be bowl eligible. The Gators play South Carolina at home this weekend and could become bowl eligible wiht a victory.
The Music City Bowl is scheduled for Dec 31st at noon EST from the Coliseum, aka the home of the Tennessee Titans. The bowl pairs a team from the SEC against a team from the Big Ten. The Peach Bowl is reported to also be interested in all three SEC teams.
