Start times for final two Tennessee games
The Volunteers annual showdown with the Vanderbilit Commodores start time has been moved. It was scheduled to start at 2 p.m EST but has been moved up to 12:30 p.m. EST and will be the Jefferson Pilot Game of the Week. The game will be shown regionally and will be part of the ESPN Game Plan.
On CSS Sunday evening, Mike Godfried let slip that ESPN will pick up the UT/Kentucky game the Saturday after Thanksgiving for its prime time game of the week at 7:45 p.m. EST. No official confirmation of this yet from ESPN, but it should be coming in the next couple of days.
UPDATE: (11/11) UT has decided to not go with the UT/UK game being a night game. Athletics director Mike Hamilton said the Vols have had a number of other night games this year and he was committed to having this game as a day game for the fans. In related news, Kentucky has returned 4000 tickets that can be sold by the UT Athletic Department.
