Leak not ready at QB
Leak not ready
C.J. Leak is not ready for any significant time at quarterback for the Tennessee Volunteers Saturday, according to reports in theTennessean.
''I think C.J. has done a nice job since he's come back,'' offensive coordinator Randy Sanders said. ''He needs a lot of work before he's up to the level he would need to be at to play. We always say if guys give us a chance to win, they'll play, and I'm not sure he's at that point right now.''
This leaves Rick Clausen as the only healthy starter for the Vols.
On a personal note, I want to know why Jim Bob Cooter's name isn't in the mix for playing time at QB.
