Fickle Gator fans??

As the Urban Meyer as the Head Coach at Florida rumors continue to percolate, Gator fan Doctor V has started a website of his own, FireUrbanMeyer.com.

But, Doctor V says it's not what you think:

If you are looking for a place to vent about Urban Meyer, GO AWAY!! Our University was embarrassed by the fireronzook.com website and I am going to do everything in my power to prevent this from occurring again.

It is time to UNITE together Gator Fans. I was not for the Ron Zook hiring but I sure as heck supported him while he was our HBC. He was never given a chance in my opinion and I am doing my part to give the new guy a fair shake.

BOTTOM LINE GATOR FANS - It is time to back our coach 100%, whoever he turns out to be. We must join as one and support our Gators!

Hey, Doctor V, there's always RehireRonZook.com

Well, at least he's honest about it. Good for him.

I tried to do the same, to buy up FireMikeStoops.com when my alma matter hired him, but someone already beat me to the punch. I just hope it's not used for the same whining and crying that the Zook site was used for.

If Urban Meyer stabs the Utah fanbase in the back like that, it's going to take some work, since no one from UF has called him yet.

"That's how this one happened. I didn't pick up the phone and call Utah,'' Meyer said. ``You know what I think? And I mean this. I think [other schools] think I love it here. So I don't know. I think the word's out ... and schools are funny about that. Yeah, I cancel my TV show and everybody's, `My God, where is he?' You know where I was? I took my dad to brunch, my 72-year-old dad to brunch, and - well, I had to get up at 7 to come in here, on five hours sleep, to see recruits,'' Meyer told the paper. ``And then I finally said, `You know, I've had it. I'm going to spend time with my kids."

I have a feeling the same chowderheads who started this site would start one for firestevespurrier.com just in case...

Michael, I checked and someone has indeed registered that domain name. Chowderhead status undetermined.

Mike Boone- why would taking another job be "stabbing the utah fanbase in the back"? Coaches, just like people in every other profession, leave jobs for other jobs all the time. It's not personal, it's a career move.
