Six Gamecocks suspended for season opener
On the heels of the ACC's suspension of 6 Clemson players, the SEC announced suspensions of an equal number of South Carolina players for the game with Central Florida on September 3, 2005.
The suspended players are: Charles Silas, Jermaine Sims, Freddy Saint-Preux, Woodly Telfort, Moe Thompson and Daccus Turman. Other players would have been suspended if they had eligibility remaining.
