Zook plans to coach Gators in Peach Bowl
Ron Zook met with the team this week and told the players that he plans to coach Florida against their ACC opponent in the Peach Bowl. Plans could change, however, as Zook is a top candidate at several openings and a new school could put the kibosh on his plans bowl plans. (You don't want to announce a new coach & then have him go out and lose with another school, do you?)
Zook has been on the interview circuit as well, interviewing at East Carolina and Mississippi, despite his losing record against Ole Miss. He is considered a front-runner for the Illinois head coaching position.
