Tuberville has permission to talk to LSU
ESPN discusses an Atlanta-Journal Constitution report that Jimmy Sexton, agent for both departing LSU head coach Nick Saban and Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville, has permission to talk to LSU about their head coaching vacancy.
The AJC report indicates that the permission to talk to the Tigers has been given if they express interest in hiring Tuberville, who was just named AP Coach of the Year. The AJC also reports that a "key LSU booster" has contacted Sexton to gauge Tuberville's interest in the job.
Tuberville reportedly had agreed to a new contract to stay at Auburn recently but details were still being worked out.

A poll at the BR Business Report - which targets the moving-and-shaking demographic around town - has Tube's stock losing 4:1 and dropping.
Stranger things have happened - like it sneauxed in New Orleans Christmas Day, the sAints still have a shred of playoff possibility and the NO Ho'Nets might get into double-digits (of games won) - but the LSU Board of Supervisors paying Tommy Tubesteak Top Dollar is beyond strange, well nigh into twilight.
Auburn fans can either rest easy or give up hope depending on their varied opinions.
