Odell Thurman to enter draft
Georgia linebacker Odell Thurman has announced he plans to enter the NFL draft and forego his senior season. His uncle and the head of the company that represents him both say his main reason for turning pro was assisting his family financially. He has five brothers and one child of his own (with another baby due in the spring.)
Thurman has reportedly been projected as a late first to early second round pick. UGA safety Thomas Davis has already declared for the draft. Defensive tackle Gerald Anderson and safety Max Jean-Gilles are also considering early departures.
