Telfort may transfer from S.C.?

Offensive lineman Woodly Telfort is reported to be considering a transfer from South Carolina to Newberry College (Div. II, S. Atlantic Conference) to finish his college career playing with a friend who already plays for the Indians. His offensive coordinator from junior college is also the offensive coordinator at Newberry.

   There is no truth to this rumor. Telford made a statement to The State paper in Columbia dispelling this rumor.

   Got a link to that article or a date and page number it appeared on in The State. I find nothing on their website mentioning it yet. I'll keep looking in case it's one that hasn't shown up yet and link it here if and when it appears.

   My apologies, the interview was done by the moderator of the SC Rivals recruiting website, Tony Morrell. I'm not sure if this link will allow you access or not, but the comment was made off the cuff because he feared not making the cut for the conditioning program set forth by Spurrier and the strength coach.
