Time to step back, say thank you

With college football just a few weeks away, I think it's time that Fanblogs say a big thank you to a bunch of people.

First and foremost, thanks to those of you who read the site, subscribe to our college football RSS feeds, and link to us on your blogs and message boards. Going into our third season, our readership has so completely exceeded the expectations Pete & I had when we kicked this thing off. Just today, we noticed that we've climbed to the #150 spot for blog traffic. So, thank you for making us part of your daily reads.

I'd also like to thank our authors. This season, we're expecting to carry an author load of about 15 college football fans. Without a doubt, we've got some great guys (and occasionally, some great gals) who --quite simply-- eat & sleep college football. Some of them even paint their faces just to blog. We couldn't ask for better authors.

That being said, I really want to say thanks to our loyal Fanblogs tipsters who see it online and shoot us an email. It's a big, big web out there, so I definitely appreciate getting the heads up from your corner of the Internet every once in while.

Finally, I'd like to thank everyone that's mentioned Fanblogs to their buddies. We've been lucky enough to get some recognition from the media, but it's really your word of mouth advertising that keeps folks coming back and makes the site so much fun to do.

We've got some really exciting new projects rolling out in the next month or so. I hope you'll stick around and check 'em out. And, if you have any suggestions on improving the site, please shoot me an email!!
