Fanblogs joins Rivals.com
We are very pleased to announce that Fanblogs has joined the Rivals.com family. With another college football season just around the corner, the good folks at Rivals.com will join some of our Fanblogs bloggers to cover college football from every angle. In addition to the increased coverage at Fanblogs, we'll be bringing you a much broader array of opinions & information (recruiting, behind-the-scenes, detailed interviews and more!) direct from the many team sites at Rivals.com - the only college football site that could pull something like this off.
When Pete & I started Fanblogs three years ago, college football blogging (and sports specific blogging, in general) didn't exist. Since that time, the entire landscape has changed for the better - with more team blogs being created & more respect for those bloggers in the mainstream press. After three years, Fanblogs is almost ready to take it to the next level. Our goal of more opinions, more detail, and more fans blogging meant that we needed to find some people that really loved college football the way we did. And we definitely found that at the Rivals.com team.
You'll see some cosmetic changes around the edges and more voices & opinions at Fanblogs, but the Fanblogs team & Rivals.com team share one goal - to bring more college football to fans & to get more fans blogging about their teams.
So with that... thank you to those who've been with us from day one and to those of you who've joined us along the way. Building the site is something that we love doing & sharing with you, and we can't wait for what lies ahead!!

I'm also very excited about this... Rivals.com is going to help take this blog to the next level. "Big Ups" to Kevin who did a ton of unseen work to help me get this bad boy up and running and then continued work to keep it in the air.
Go have a cold one!

Thanks, fellas. I appreciate it.
#13 - Fanblogs will remain free, but Rivals does offer some great subscription features for those looking for even more CFB.

This is just another example how the internet is a great tool for the small business guy. What a great story, you start off with an idea, build on it, and then have someone like Rivals.com think so highly of you that they do this. Hard work, smart work and creativity always pays off. Congrats guys!

So Cal Clipper is the biggest faggot blogger on this site by far, then comes Tommie Trojan. Don't you fags know your an embarassment to the school you root for?
I know one thing, if I was in LA I wouldn't be on some computer debating CFB, losers.
ps, USC plays in a joke of a conf., if the best D you saw all year was Texas, you didn't deserve to win a title.

No Cal Clown, it took one of the greatest performances in the history of the sport to final beat USC (lets hear you down-play that)... and it couldnt have been a much closer finish! Texas brought their A+ Game, USC didnt, USC Lost, Texas deserved that Win.
Over the past 4 season NO OTHER TEAM IN THE COUNTRY has beaten more Top 10, more Top 25 teams than USC has, NONE.
And dont forget No Cal clown, USC has a BUILT-IN boost of competition so-to-speak, historically they face Notre Dame! (The No. 1 program in terms of National Titles)
... and by the way I'm not in L.A.
But great insight there Scooner, what a contribution... bringing out your best stuff huh? "... biggest fa&&ot..." cleverly crafted.Regan said:

I am always a bit skeptical of change when it comes to things I have come to appreciate, like Fanblogs.
However, I do have a lot of respect for Rivals.com and the excellent work they do, so I'm not worried (so long as I can whine free of charge).
Congratulations to everyone to Fanblogs for a great job and best wishes for Fanblogs' growth in the future.
