Troubled South Carolina freshman to transfer

South Carolina DT K.T. Mainord says he intends to transfer from USC to a school in Tennessee after this semester. Mainord mentioned D-IAA Chattanooga as a potential transfer school.

Mainord was arrested earlier this month for breaking into female students' dorms and stealing electronics. After review of his case, Mainord was allowed to return to school, but would be required to perform community service if he is enrolled at USC in the fall.

"I’m probably going to finish out the semester and then transfer to (a school in) Tennessee," Mainord said Tuesday after a scheduling hearing at the Richland County courthouse.
