South Carolina sued by former player
Former Gamecock Moe Thompson has sued the University of South Carolina over his dismissal from school and the football team. Thompson and teammate Kevin Mainord were dismissed after being charged with theft and burglary. Thompson transferred to Grambling after the dismissal. He was cut from the roster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this year.
Thompson received five years probation after a guilty plea. His suit claims that school policies and procedures were not followed in his dismissal. The suit also claims that he should have been able to "matriculate at a reduced rate" because of learning disabilities.

All I gotta say is that as much as I loved watching him on the field, I hate hearing this. Are we all supposed to just buy into this crap? He was guilty, got caught, end of story. I hate hearing this constant string of BS about how criminals are all victims of some sort in our day and age? Complete and utter BS. He needs to grow and mature, and just move on...it's all old news anyways.

Not sure what's worse. This, or that guy in Oregon who's suing Michael Jordan for $832 mil because he's getting tired of being mistaken for him.
I really dont even think he looks that much like MJ: http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/5766288
