Furman adds North Carolina in 2006

Furman has added a trip to North Carolina to its schedule for 2006. Furman coach Bobby Lamb said that the deal isn't finalized yet but that things are in the works. The Paladins defeated the Tar Heels the last time they played (in 1999.)

Furman played Pitt to overtime in 2004. The Paladins are already scheduled to play Clemson in 2008 and 2010. They have also added a home-and-home series with Colgate for 2008 and 2010 with Colgate travelling to Furman in the first game.
