Syracuse unveils new uniforms

Syracuse has unveiled new, Nike designed uniforms for the upcoming season, the first change to the SU uniform since the early 1980s. While the colors remain the same, some of the changes are exceptional.

The most drastic change is a return to displaying the players numbers on the sides of the helmets. For the first time since 1981, the Orange will don white pants. Jerseys will not bear the players name, but instead feature three dominant stripes running front to back over the shoulders, an homage to stripes worn on the sleeves of past SU uniforms. The stripes are orange-white-orange on the blue jerseys and blue-orange-blue on the white jerseys.
