Temple coaching search is underway

Temple AD Bill Bradshaw reports that he has had 50 inquiries into the Owls' head coaching job vacated by Bobby Wallace this past Monday. Bradshaw has also announced that he has hired Gene Corrigan as a consultant in the coaching search. Corrigan has served as Athletic Director at Virginia and Notre Dame as well as commissioner of the ACC.

Some early names being speculated about in the media include Baltimore Ravens QB coach Rick Neuheisel (who we all remember left Washington in a cloud), Pittsburgh Steelers WR coach Bruce Arians (who coached at Temple before) and Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley. Other assistants in the MAC could also be possibilities.

Oh, please, if there is an omnipotent being in the heavens, please let Neuheisel rot at a place like Temple.

Corrigan was also AD at Notre Dame when Lou Holtz was hired, I believe.

Having done my UnderGraduate at UW, I'd like nothing more than see Neuheisel rot away at Temple.
As sore as I am, Neuheisel is not actually a bad coach..He is a fairly decent recruiter, if not much of a person.
In exchange, UW got Willingham..a great person, but a lousy coach.

Isn't it fitting for him to rot in Baltimore though. That is criminal ally and their quarterback situation is perfect for him. College football needs to keep people like him out. Temple is to good of a place for someone like him.

Why don't you guys go rot in **** because you sure as **** don't have to worry about 'Slick Rick' coming to Temple. "Arians' Nation" begins in North Philadelphia on November 21, 2005. We will be MAC champions within 4 years and Big East members again by 2012. Have fun for the next 5 years with Mr. Willingham, I'm sure it will work out for all of you.
