Aggies to play Texas State tonight, ask out-of-town fans to stay away
With Hurricane Rita closing in (is this a football blog or a weather blog?...Hard to tell these days...), Texas A&M moved up its game with Texas State from Saturday to tonight at 7:30 pm CT. Aggie athletic officials are asking non-local fans NOT to travel to this game, so as not to impede the massive hurricane evacuation traffic. Also, no hotel rooms in the area will be available. Fox Sports Net has agreed to televise the game, partly as a concession to fans unable to attend.
A&M AD Bill Byrne announced the ticket exchange policy and other details surrounding tonight's game in his weekly column.

Yep, I doubt that many (if any) of the other FSN regionals will give up their precious baseball in order to show this game.
