Tulane could cancel season or play elsewhere
Members of the Tulane football team are now in Dallas staying at SMU. The Green Wave are scheduled to play the Mustangs on September 24 but school officials have yet to make a final decision as to whether the team will play this season after the devastation caused in New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina earlier this week. If they do play, the Green Wave could play their home games in either Shreveport or Houston. As previously mentioned at Fanblogs, the NCAA is considering waiving some rules to make it easier for teams affected by Katrina.
Tulane students, including two sports teams were initially moved to Jackson State in Mississippi until they lost power there. The football team and travelling party attended the Cowboys-Jaguars preseason game Thursday as guests of the Cowboys. Tulane's game at Southern Mississippi was postponed until November 26.

The DMN is reporting that Tulane will definitely play its games this year after consultations with C-USA officials. No details on the when & where, just confirmation that the Green Wave will play.

After I made my last comment, ESPN reported that the location would be known by Monday.
