UNLV gets new wardrobe

UNLV has unveiled their new home uniforms for 2008. This is part of a larger deal with Nike to be the only product supplier and sponser of of UNLV athletics.

They give an old school look with modern design features.

Frank "the Tank" Summers (Sr. RB, Oakland CA) demonstrates the proper way to model a uniform in the caption to the left.

Apparrently the band is getting in on the action too. This article also points out UNVL has installed a new grass field, requiring a new design for the playing field as well.

Will the new look give UNLV a change of pace and a breath of fresh air, or will it be the same old team dressed in a new suit?

I guess the agreement with Nike eliminates the possiblitiy of a Victoria' s Secret cheerleading unifrom for UNLV. Now that would be alot more interesting.
