Some of GaTech's best players are Hokies

In one of the stranger storylines of the season, Virginia Tech had several uniforms stolen in their trip to play Georgia Tech last night.

The result? Several Hokies, including VaTech starting QB Sean Glennon (photo), were forced to wear old, borrowed Georgia Tech road uniforms (whites) in suiting up for the game. VaTech players had to use tape and Sharpies to cross out the "Yellow Jackets" across the front of the uniforms. Glennon's name was hand-written on the back of his uniform.

"Branden (Ore) wrote it on there first in caps and lower case," Glennon said. "I then did it in all caps."

In the end, the uniforms didn't matter - the Hokies (and several psuedo Yellow Jackets) downed Georgia Tech by a final score of 27-3.

Just an observation... Glennon's 22 for 36 performance (296 yards) with 2 touchdowns was one of the best performances by anybody in a Georgia Tech uniform all year.

I can't understand why anyone would want their very own Hokie uniform. Where does one wear it?
